There is another web basd application that provides service as desktop application does. Well, you might have tried the product offered by Google.

After several bug fixes, Drupal 6.2 was finally released. The main changes are regarding the security vulnerabilities of access bypass in the core.

The issues of this bypassing are accessing to some pages was not appropriately controlled that allow any user can edit profile pages of other users, users who can view administration pages are able to edit content types and the tracker and blog pages expose information to users without the “access content” permission.

I have a MDA Touch recently. Hence, I need some software (and free) to be installed into this lovely hardware, so it can work more powerful.

One website that can be accessed in order to download free software for Pocket PC is freewarepocketpc.net. The collection is currently more than 6300 software (I wished I have a hardware that can run all these 6300 programs and time or ability to use them all..hehehe).

After spent sometime searching radio streaming website in The Netherlands, I finally found a list. The list was quite complete.

Beside the list of the radio in The Netherlands, the website also provide on-web player that directly play the radio we’ve chosen from the list. Cool.

The website name is Nederland.fm.

Other than that, the provider also created the similar website for the list of radio in France, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Italia.

After having a MDA Touch, I directly searched all the information about this gadget , especially the software.

The first thing I searched was about the internet browser. This can’t be missed because MDA Touch was equipped with quite complete internet connection specification.

Internet Explorer Mobile has been installed by default in the gadget. The presentation of the website content does not really appeal to my preference. I have made a short video about using this browser

Other than that, I also have installed Opera Mini. I can have it for free by download via its official website.

The result of this MIDlet-based browser was good enough for me. I like its way to present the content of a website. Its vendor has performed tests and considered that this browser is faster, more secure and the loading time is shorter than mobile browser.

Opera also launched pay version of its mobile handset internet browser. The name is Opera Mobile. Compare to Opera Mini, Opera Mobile has more functionalities especially to support Ajax and Web 2.0 technology. It also has tabbing function, so you could browse some website at the same time.

Videos about the usage of both browsers (Opera Mini and Opera Mobile) have been uploaded, so you can compare them.

Personally, I am more like to use Opera Mini as my internet browser. I like the way it presents the website content and it also consume less processor effort than Opera Mobile in MDA Touch.

Have you ever experienced that your administrator page can’t be accessed after you entered your login information? Moreover, the other accounts could access their own administrator page normally. Well, I have and it was frustrating. What was wrong with my blog?

I currently installed Wordpress MU in this server and created several accounts for different blog’s authors.

One of the reasons for the condition was that one of the plugins was not really compatible with the Wordpress MU. It created fatal error. FYI, I am using Wordpress 1.3.

Ok, but how to deactivate the plugin if you were not able to access the administrator page?

Firstly, I opened the wp-settings.php file and commented line 304-307. The result was as following code:

// include_once(ABSPATH . PLUGINDIR . '/' . $plugin);

Second, I login again and voilà, the administrator page can be accessed again. Go directly to Plugin menu and check which plugin that created the error (my case was Gravatars). To check which plugin caused the error, I deactivated the last installed plugin. If it wasn’t working, I deactivated suspicious plugin, de-commented line 304-307 of wp-settings.php file and checked if the administrator page could not be accessed.

Third, after deactivated the plugin, de-commented line 304-307 of wp-settings.php file to its default code and continue blogging.
